What are the differences between the Premier Compact and the Premier Plus?
The Premier Compact is designed for small and medium-sized homes, typically with up to three bathrooms. Its narrow design allows it to fit inside many kitchen cupboards.
The Premier Plus is a higher-capacity system intended for larger properties, typically with four bathrooms and greater simultaneous water demand. Dorset Water Centre can survey your home to determine which of the two models is more suitable for you
The Premier Compact has the HE and HF models, what do these mean?
The Premier Compact HE is the High Efficiency variant, and the Premier Compact HF is the High Flow variant. Functionally, these are no different, they both provide soft water, and use roughly the same amount of salt per person per month.
The plubming setup in your house will determine which of the two machines is suitable for your home, and during a survey an engineer will let you know which they are planning to fit.
You will not need to choose between them.
The Premier Plus takes tablet salt, and the Premier Compact block salt, does this matter?
Not really. The machines are designed to operate at maximum efficiency with their listed type of salt. Salt is still salt, it will work, but we cannot guarantee that your system will work optimally.
